Customers agree to lease the Vizia UPS from RocketNet subject to these Terms and Conditions:
1. These Terms and Conditions govern the leasing of goods by customers (“Customer” or “You”) from RocketNet (“We” or “Us”). These terms apply to all goods leased from us.
2. “Goods” refers to the WiFi UPS equipment or products leased to the Customer.
3. The Lease Period shall initially be for a duration of 12 (twelve) months. Upon the expiry of the initial 12 months, the agreement shall automatically be extended on a month-to-month basis.
4. During the month-to-month extension, either party may terminate the lease by providing 1 (one) month’s written notice.
5. Pricing for leased Goods will be as per the agreed rates. Payment is due monthly in advance. Late payments may incur additional charges.
6. The rates payable to RocketNet by the Customer, which are subject to change, are as follows:
a. R99.00 (Ninety Nine) Rand per month for a WiFi UPS.
7. Goods will be delivered to the Customer’s specified address and the Customer agrees to be charged any courier fees associated with delivery. Upon delivery, the Customer must inspect the Goods and report any defects immediately to RocketNet.
8. In the event that any leased goods are damaged by the Customer, a fee of R450.00 (Four Hundred and Fifty) Rand will be payable by the Customer to RocketNet.
9. The Goods are to be used only as intended and in accordance with manufacturer guidelines. Sub-leasing or resale of the Goods is strictly prohibited.
10. The Customer is responsible for the regular maintenance of the Goods. Repairs or defects should be reported to RocketNet, and will be addressed in accordance with the warranty terms. The goods will be replaced by RocketNet in the event that the defect is of no fault of the Customer.
11. The risk of loss or damage to the Goods passes to the Customer upon delivery. RocketNet is not liable for any damages suffered arising from the use of the Goods.
12. In the event that the Customer fails to return the goods to RocketNet, the Customer agrees to be liable to RocketNet for the replacement value of the unit which is:
a. R999.00 (Nine Hundred and Ninety Nine) Rand for a WiFi UPS.
13. The agreement may be terminated by either party in accordance with the agreed terms. Early termination by the Customer will result in an early cancellation fee of R1499.00 (One Thousand Four Hundred and Ninety Nine Rand) which will be payable by the Customer to RocketNet on request of such payment.
14. At the end of the agreement, the Goods must be returned in good working condition, subject to normal wear and tear. Ownership of the goods shall not at any point pass to the Customer
15. Failure to comply with these terms may result in penalties, including but not limited to, repossession of the Goods.
16. Neither party shall be liable for delays or failures in performance resulting from acts beyond their reasonable control.
17. By leasing Goods from RocketNet, the Customer acknowledges having read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
